Hye Tick, hye all.
I just want to know if i'm alone to have this very little problem: the default skin seems to be too large, about 20 or 30 pixels. When i launch Rhino (2.1 and already in 2.0), i see the skin with the normal colors and at thr right and at the bottom, i've a line from 20 or 30 pixels which reproduce the background of my host application, in Orion or in Energy XT.
Do i have a problem with a bmp file ?
Cheers
Eric
ps: Rhino is always a wonderful thing !

No, you're right. But it only happens in Orion and EXT, which would indicate a host-specific issue.

I thought this 'skin too big ' issue happened when you left your Rhino out in the
rain? Since Rhino's have loose skin to begin with, when rained upon the skin gets all saggy and baggy.
No?

Well, in my experience, they don't suffer so much in the water as they do in the dryer.db wrote: I thought this 'skin too big ' issue happened when you left your Rhino out in the rain? Since Rhino's have loose skin to begin with, when rained upon the skin gets all saggy and baggy.
And for heaven's sake, DON'T put them in with the towels! You'll never get all the lint off.

Shrinkage my friend, shrinkage-I just hate it when that happens!carterbennett wrote: Well, in my experience, they don't suffer so much in the water as they do in the dryer.
I replaced at least 6 dryers last year due to Rhino related damage.

Gawd! My towels never had so much lint! Damn Rhino!

If your skin seems too large, just modify the skin.ini file (with care !).
The first lines, you'll find the window size, which is 800*600 by default. just reduce from 790 by 590 and you get a perfect window, without the bad borders on le right and at the bottom.
Cheers

Yes... but the weird thing is, the actual size of the bitmaps is indeed 800x600...
