A new TP limiting limiter with two modes: Pumping and Envelope, the Esquire3 limiter by DSPplug is an easy application to use in the Windows OS for governing levels.

Having a professional, lustruous sheen with depth and focus; you will be impressed by the lack of any dissonance taking from the clarity of your sound. This will be very easily heard in the way of electric & acoustic guitar recordings. Your vocals will also have a surreal clarity which is ideal after a busy fx chain.

Having two modes you will be able to decide the amount of reduction and the speed and reaction to loudness. Pumping notably, in this version is a bit more stable meaning that it becomes a more viable choice for your uility use.

The download is free and I hope it assists you in furthering your goals.

Yes, this first release is a working prototype with a few less frills. Tbh, I made a video talking about limiting and realized the old LU version of the limiter was slow to reduce volume by a few ms and I needed to make that right.

Here I am using the new version 1.2

Edit: Updated to v 1.3 with better, noiseless transition from pumping mode to envelope, also new gui components.

It will be updated today I promise. My time was limited. Yes, it's normal and I will update later today with the same preset order and vst3 guid.

Tomorrow likely I will be able to add auto makeup, but I will need to extensively test. I realize some competitions ask that you use a lesser tp then -1, I will research those common levels and maybe create a setting for that also.

The goal of this limiter is to cater to the professional so that they can get their work done in short order. This is why I ensured the ceiling knob is very slow to move so that you can get the db's just right so to reach your wanted integrated and peak loudness.

I recommend Youlean's loudness meter to test for those levels.

Updated to 1.5 which now has a tighter tp brickwall ceiling threshold (likely I can make it tighter "trial & error") refreshes the plugin knob state more effectively, so that when you move a knob it won't jump. I use only ruby for plug-ins now so I write all of the code from scratch.

The only examples I use are ruby ones that include logarithms, but I use them merely for reference to learn from. I do no copying and pasting, so you can be sure that though made with flowstone this is code operating at a commercial grade. The greatest strength of ruby in My opinion is it's ability to limit all redraws universally. It will not try to rewrite graphics too quickly or at irregular timing.

This to Me is ideal, I feel what the user wants is good sound, so ruby allows to take the toll of graphics off of the cpu and the gpu and allows you to focus on what is the most important thing without any lag.

Sorry, I was finished but spent extra time perfecting everything so that the source was in its entirety.

Now updated to version 1.6. 1.6 has all intended additions applied and is a bit more efficient. Auto makeup now functions and could maybe provide you with some advantages.
I've made the threshold a bit more sensitive to the control to improve your experience in the way of mastering.

The gain reduction readout is now very responsive and you'll be very happy with how sensitive it is, showing you exactly what has been taken away. It can be surprising how much it's removing.

The source can now be downloaded here

Download your free copy and enjoy. A mac version is coming. I am waiting on a Mac M1 Mini 8gb I purchased so to better provide adequate customer service.

Loudmax leaves this in the dust...

I tested Loudmax, I've liked the product for some time.
Here are those test results.
https://youtu.be/Om-b53z_l6Y

I tested for 9 hours or more to get the right result. It matters to Me that there's people who get use from this. I ensured that any bugs are repaired.
I've updated the product to version 1.7. I will add dbtp compression with a -2.5 db threshold and a 12% ratio to help defeat the true peaks. I made a custom limiter from scratch that succeeds at this; but it is more an effect which gives this limiter a new, completely original sound that sounds like extremely expensive analog gear, which has a smooth digital-like finish. The next version will have a more natural true peak and I will force a more natural peak like I do with the dspplug smooth to ensure a good dynamic.

I fixed the GUI glitch with any graphics loading, and furthermore; the graphics memory unloads when the plugin(s) are closed. I will likely be able to half the amount of memory used with new advancements that are much needed and take flowstone development further forward than ever before.

Here's the technical details regarding 1.7

Updated. This is a big updated that prevents any volume related feedback issues. Furthermore you may notice that the sound is a bit smoother. The next version will use less cpu.
