Small FL5 problems w/ sample previews

For whatever reason, in FL5, when I control and left click on a channel to preview a sound, it holds for about 20 seconds. In FL4, it was based on how long you held down the left mouse button. Very annoying. Is there a fix for this?

Also, every time I preview a sample in the browser, "Use Loop Points" seems to be automatically enabled, causing even oneshot percussive sounds to loop, which is stupid and annoying. Again, this didn't happen with FL4.
