I downloaded the nightly build for Linux and tested the vst3 version with Bitwig running on Manjaro. I didn't test things very deeply but generally it seems to work really smoothly. I only found two minor issues. The first is that the right-click menu is really small on my 4K screen and as far as I can tell it doesn't change size according to the zoom level. The other is that the window always starts in maximized view. It looks really good, all in all.

Post

4k menus not scaling is a known issue (and a tricky one), as for the other thing - make sure to set your default zoom level, in zoom options (right-click anywhere that's not a control, or click the Zoom button for the same options).

yeah the problem with 4k menus is we kinda get an option to have them super big or unzoomed so far, nothing between. I may make it so users have that option but right now i only have a mac where i am. next week i will have a winlin box with proper 4k hardware so i can debug then. https://github.com/surge-synthesizer/surge/issues/5282 where we're tracking it FYI. Thanks!

oh ha i only unzipped it on my mac. the command i'm using should just make a standard zip file though. Any ideas what could cause this would be welcome.

Download works fine for me, 77.5 MB (full xt, Win 7), no prob. installing.

Guys, can anyone help me? I am using Surge XT - There was this Skin page, where we can download Surge skins. I searched my ass off now more than 20 Minutes - cannot find it again. I asked Google. I looked through their Github repos... I got stuck in the net. It's not listed on their mainpage. Nowhere. It's not linked in the Surge XT instrument menu.

It was a page where there were like 10 skins listed, also their compatibility with Surge XT was listed. I found skins named "funtime" and "sober" there.

It's definitely in the main menu:

Website will be updated closer to the official release.

I don't see that here and I'm running the latest version from:

https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/

I assume there are more up to date versions. Are there download links to the latest version without having to navigate github ?
