:( And then there was 1. I loved the Monkees as a kid, still love a bunch of their songs, but they are so closely tied to memories of my brother that I can't listen to them much anymore. Except, maybe, Pleasant Valley Sunday, which is what my town was turning into when we left in 1971.

he did the music for a movie called Time Rider in the 80's too, I didnt really think much of the movie but the music was good and my date was awesome :hihi:

Loved the Monkees as a kid, too..Mike was my favorite, and I always noted the songs he wrote..in fact, I do believe 'You Just May Be the One' was the first song I learned to play and sing on the guitar.
