he did the music for a movie called Time Rider in the 80's too, I didnt really think much of the movie but the music was good and my date was awesome

Loved the Monkees as a kid, too..Mike was my favorite, and I always noted the songs he wrote..in fact, I do believe 'You Just May Be the One' was the first song I learned to play and sing on the guitar.
