is there a vst that does amplitude splitting besides the new Effect Grid?

Effect Grid looks an interesting new VST. But is there any other VST that also splits according to amplitude? I suppose UA's G8 spilts into two bands, but I wonder if anything else does. Maybe even something I already have but just have never noticed that function

I used Ableton effect rack with two gates in parallel, one "inverted".

yes I can do similar with multiple gates but looks like the Melda solution is going to be the simplestDJ Warmonger wrote: Sun Dec 12, 2021 9:06 am I used Ableton effect rack with two gates in parallel, one "inverted".

Actually, as always seems the case with Melda plugins, there was a solution but it has disappeared / stopped working. I would sell all my Melda plugins, other than the comb filter, if I could.
EDIT - I uninstalled the lot of Melda from my machine. Life is too short to deal with that level of unreliability and poor interface design

Well there is StudioRack, but presently that is only useful to those who have Waves plugins. That tends to get a bit of mixed response around here.

I’d buy it in a heartbeat if it hosted AU/VST

I get the impression, though, that adding support AU/VST support would be one of their most commonly asked for requests. So there is always HOPE.
