Like every year some new plugins were released.
My favourite ones are
Baby Audio Smooth Operator,
TR5 Comprexxor and Eventide SplitEq.
Comprexxor is my most used new plugin.

Atlas 2 was by far my fav and most-used plugin released in 2021.

But, if we're talking only effects only, that's a tough one... maybe PSP Saturator or Other Desert Cities?

I also upgraded to Atlas 2, it's indeed great.
Even though I am not a big IKMultimedia user, except Amplitube 5 (sometimes the effects only), Comprexxor blew me away.
I have discovered a new yt channel also with a Comprexxor review and that's exactly what I use it for, either sound shaping, adding distortion or smashing drums.

- Audio Damage Other Desert Cities
- HY-Plugins HY-SEQ32 free

Was e-phonic Invader2 this year? Certainly the plug I've got the most mileage out of this year.

Only just got UPs Electrum (june this year I believe), that's good, some great processed guitar sounds but really useful on just about anything.
