80s pop plucked strat guitar sound?

Hi folks
does anyone know where I can find samples or loops of a plucked strat guitar sound, the kind which was used in a lot of pop/funk records in the 80s (eg, beginning of Lucky Star by Madonna)
I have found some useful guitar sounds but nothing played in that plucky style which is hard to synthesise.

1. have a guy with a strat play it for you?
2. Rob papen's RG. (synth) I own this only because I have the bundle, and for most guitar sounds, it's very much average or worse. but for that particular sound that you are looking for? actually is decent and you can program the upstrokes, downstrokes, ghost notes and stuff in the sequencer.

hey thanks, for some reason that synth never appeared on my radar but looks good at first glance. My brother is actually a great guitarist but he's more a Van Halen man so not sure he would have the right kind of guitar

guitars really don't sound worlds different. a strat is very bright and thin, and guitars with humbuckers are darker and thicker sounding, but it's not like you can't play anything on any guitar. you can play metal on a tele, you can play funk on a PRS. I did a full blues gig once with a Dean ML (Dimebag Darrell guitar) sounded great, got looks. You just need to make sure its really clean and spanky for that particular sound, and maybe make it brighter with some EQ.Jbravo wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 2:52 am hey thanks, for some reason that synth never appeared on my radar but looks good at first glance. Might still be bundled with the rest of the plug-ins.

For the typical Nile Rodgers sound - Orange Tree Stratosphere, also look at Shreddage Stratus. Orange Tree's strumming engine probably does the funk patterns with less effort.

thanks for the ideas everyone. I'm not so much looking for strumming but more a solo line where they pluck the string really hard. I'll try that RG CM version which looks like it might do
