good point... thats mostly forgotten: of course further updates with new features - meaning everything between the major numbers 4 & 5 will be free of charge! (not saying that N5 is scheduled or planned in any form at the moment).

I asked this the other day and I got a plain "no plans on this" answer. So yeah, we can forget about it.noiseboyuk wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 4:44 pm Just saying though - if a 4.5 update came out with sep outs, I'd jump at it, despite everything.
They did implement a couple of my suggestions/fixes in the 4.0.5 update that came out yesterday. Small, but nice.

I honestly cannot imagine a version 5 of Nexus. Otherwise it will just deviate too much from what it is designed for - easy of use and speed. And looking at all the backlash Nexus4 has received, it would make sense to keep Nexus4 going for a few years (more than two at least to be precise). Then, people will eventually upgrade and buy (keep buying) the Nexus4 expansions.msvs wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 5:01 pm good point... thats mostly forgotten: of course further updates with new features - meaning everything between the major numbers 4 & 5 will be free of charge! Thanks for that info, however unwelcome it is. Maybe I should contact support about it - the more who do so, the more likely that they might get the idea that it's actually important. By that I mean we could collective shift it from a 0.1% chance to a 0.5% chance.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 5:53 pmI asked this the other day and I got a plain "no plans on this" answer. It fills my heart with joy at the sheer amount of backlash refx are getting on the internet due to this move. Who would have thought refx would bring humanity together to fight a common cause

No worries. Yes, please do. In fact, I asked it kinda on your behalf after I saw you posting it a few times and I also realized it would be useful. At the least, it might motivate them to give it another thought about it.noiseboyuk wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:01 pmThanks for that info, however unwelcome it is. I think if everyone would contact support and nicely tell them you have no plans to upgrade, maybe that will have some impact.

Sure, a coordinated action like this would lead to another round of banned customerstony10000 wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:30 pm I think if everyone would contact support and nicely tell them you have no plans to upgrade, maybe that will have some impact.

Well, if they ban everyone, that means that those banned will not be buying ANY of their expansions. Not a good business plan!MirkoVanHauten wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:34 pmSure, a coordinated action like this would lead to another round of banned customerstony10000 wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:30 pm I think if everyone would contact support and nicely tell them you have no plans to upgrade, maybe that will have some impact.![]()

On sending a feature requests for sep outs:
I like to believe it was actually printed out, and they physically scrunched it up before throwing a great cross-office shot into the basketball hoop they have installed over the trash.
Response - "I have forwarded your suggestion to our developers for consideration".

From what I've seen in past years, he'd ban first then worry latertony10000 wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:37 pmWell, if they ban everyone, that means that those banned will not be buying ANY of their expansions. We will see...if that is what happens, it won't be good for reFX...

Don't they need to automatically refund those banned clients?m-ac wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:46 pm (...)
