2022 is around the corner. What do you think about next year's possible releases? Any new DAW's coming out maybe? Curious to what Fender does with Studio One. FL Studio 21 is around the corner. What is MOTU up to with DP. Will Serato Studio grow? Behinger's new DAW etc. Logic 11 in the near future? Discuss.....

The Props will continue with their progressively embarassing, erratic and desperate antics and with that add further nails to Reason's coffin.

Cubase will gain new popularity due to the Steinies finally dumping their silly dongle

Studio One will keep growing and prospering as always

Reaper 7 will come out with a several pages long list of new features almost nobody will comprehend what it's actually all about

I'll hands up to that.

My prediction is that nobody interested in the topic of this thread will release anything worth listening to. Because when I look to 2022, I am thinking about the timeline for finishing an EP and then an album before next December. The tools I might use to achieve that goal are largely unimportant, getting the work done is.

The catch 22 of course is you were interested enough to respond to this thread, so logically if you're right, you will not release anything worth listening to. :hihi:

Ironic self proclamation there. Glad he said it instead of someone else.
Now he only has himself to argue with on that one.

First, I stopped releasing anything. I just hoard and judiciously share with selected friends and family.

Otherwise, no predictions really. But speculate that maybe Image Line might have spent time regrouping and getting ready to jump in with what the new market is demanding. (3 OS, reintroducing VST3/AU Instruments and fx, etc.)

The rest, along the same lines, to make improvements in an exponential way and start a new race to "be the one".

Just updated my Harrison Mixbus to v7 and this is better than it's ever been. Surprisingly so.
Getting along very well with Bitwig and Cubase 11 is also keeping it's worth of use too.
But I have started approaching the DAW as separate instruments in themselves too.

Studio One will be delivered in a glitter bomb box if you try and order the boxed version.
