Cubase Issue with Cableguys Shaperbox & UVI Shade (maybe other daws)

Has anyone ever had an issue with Cableguys Shaperbox & UVI Shade whereby if you open them in your daw (I have Cubase Pro 11) that they slow the graphical interface into a glitchy mess, actually its not just the graphics it basically slows the system response to keyboard input.
If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. HOW CAN YOU HAVE ANY PUDDING IF YOU DON'T EAT YER MEAT!?

I can only speak of UVI but did you already try with OpenGL in the plugin settings disabled ?
