Aberrant DSP - ShapeShifter Presets

...here's a small pack of presets I created for Aberrant DSP's ShapeShifter:
feel free to use them if you want.
If you haven't checked out ShapeShifter, be sure you do.. it's a cool "character" compressor that can do noise, lofi and saturation but also mild compression. I especially like the look and the overcompressed sounds I can get out of this.

I always wonder how are people actually using it. Got it with a Sketch casette in a bundle, but hardly ever even open it. Not sure what to do with it, im treating it as an effect if so, but still not really feeling it.

I‘m using it as a parallel compressor mostly. Love it on drum room mics (100% wet). It‘s also cool on the master bus when used in small doses (<50% mix).

and if you like the compressor in SketchCassette, try the following preset
I analysed both in the PluginDoctor and tried to get the ShapeShifter to sound like the NR Comp in SketchCassette. The NR Comp sounds a LITTLE different but it's very close and the ShapeShifter is more flexible. The "Sketchcassette BRT" file is the closest.

btw.... if ShapeShifter is too complex: Klevgränd's LUXE is also quite tasty..... it's MUCH easier to use but is a bit subtler... However, it can also do upward compression in the 'Finesse' (the green one) setting.
And don't worry.. I won't be uploading presets for this one

Thanks for the presets!
ShapeShifter is good at being a cheap Goodhertz Vulfcomp replacement. A bit hard to figure out, but totally worth it. I use it a lot on drums (in parallell) to bring out texture and noise.
I also like its distortion a whole lot.
