Any opinions on Quantec's statements about Reverbs

I second that, but did he claim that it is an LTI system? I've read that there's no modulation, but there could possibly a be non-linear step in the way stereo input is handled (see http://reverberation.biz/2014/08/19/wha ... /#more-182)?

I read that Wolfgang developed his Quantec digital reverb algorithms without any formal University education. Which would have been quite a feat back in 1982 without the internet. And only 8 bit microcomputers to develop algorithms. Maybe his criticisms of the competitor digital reverbs were a result of some gaps in his knowledge? Most reverbs from the 80s were descended from research carried out at big universities by people like Manfred Schroeder.
