Their development speed has been very slow in the last 2 years, for sure. Home-officing is very bad for productivity.WasteLand wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 1:25 pmit is only a bit strange, last year it was play series library? slash instrument.chk071 wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 1:02 pmI was about to complain as well. and; play series; Twenty Five i already have, for free...
2 year back; Raum.. that was something..
I don't even know what they want to put into Komplete 14 next year. Maybe they'll "take a year off", and instead release it in 2023. I saw that they're very busy with VST3's and M1 compatibility at the moment.

From izotope website it won't ever be updated to be compatible with mac M1. Bought the 100$ bundle last month with ozone and neutron; it had a bunch of random stuff that won't ever be updated. The izotope trash is interesting for heavy distortion, it was pretty advanced in the 2000 with its multiband function and all; now I don't know. can still be useful probably.

It might seem a little arrogant, but I already have more than enough saturation/distortion in my plugin folder.SLiC wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:07 pm This year, we're thrilled to be able to celebrate the holidays by offering a giveaway from both NI and iZotope. Get iZotope’s Trash 2 and our Play Series: TWENTY FIVE for free, plus enjoy a 25% voucher from NI.

I still use and rate Trash 2, wonder if this means there may be an update?
Softube Amp Room is hard to beat when it comes to distortion....

Life is hard. I hope you find a way to deal with this terrible injustice.Neon Breath wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:35 am What a slap in the face of the Trash customers who actually spent money and bought that plugin![]()
OT: It's a nice freebie. I wouldn't have bought it from iZo-we-only-care-about-our-most-popular-plugins-tope.

A 25% voucher is worthless if you can’t combine it with their regular 50% sales. Even a €25 voucher is hard to place on any order if most items are more than €50… Those which are lower than that I found not worth the €14 I would still have to pay… I never used a NI voucher for that reason…jasco wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 7:10 am Anyone else noticed the subtle change from $25 voucher to 25% off voucher?

indeed, Komplete 14 will not be a very big step, but when was Guitar Rig 6 presented, with a komplete version (12 or 13, i think 13???).chk071 wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:45 pmTheir development speed has been very slow in the last 2 years, for sure. development is indeed slow, but it always was.. in my experience, don't really mind...
and i repeat, me like the NI stuff, have Komplete 11 Ultimate + Komplete 13, which is a great combo for me, mainly interested in instruments and effects.
and own thé Maschine combo (MK3 + Jam....).
so, perhaps Komplete 14 comes with updates from existing synths... well, speculation...
i can do what i want with the NI stuff, and what i can't do in it, i use other solutions...

Thanks NI / Izotope. Have seen this lots of times but never bought it, but always happy to accept a freebie. Some of us are grateful
I wonder what happens if I press this button...
