i think there are, soft modular modules, but removing a phase below a zero crossing, or better in soft modular terms... under 0 volt...xXBrodieXx wrote: Tue Dec 21, 2021 11:27 am Hii producers is there any way of removing phase below zero crossing? ill explain in detail im just curious..Thanks
you mean only the phase 'shift'?

If you mean fixing stereo phase correlation, take a look at the Sideminder plugins. I use SideMinder ZL.

I'm looking forward to the response from @zerocrossing

I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Is this something one would put on every track?foosnark wrote: Tue Dec 21, 2021 12:14 pm If you mean fixing stereo phase correlation, take a look at the Sideminder plugins. I use SideMinder ZL.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

You could, but I usually only put it on tracks that I suspect or know are problematic, or where I specifically want to narrow or widen a particular band. I also I have it in my default mastering chain with neutral settings.Dirtgrain wrote: Tue Dec 21, 2021 1:33 pmIs this something one would put on every track?foosnark wrote: Tue Dec 21, 2021 12:14 pm If you mean fixing stereo phase correlation, take a look at the Sideminder plugins. Since I don't mic stuff, the phase issues I usually run into are due to detuned oscillators, modulated delays and reverbs, or questionable modular techniques

You could try splitting a sound with an asymmetric waveshaper so you can process both axis differently, but not sure what use that would be
Removing phase would basically mean shifting all the harmonics to occur along the zero crossing which would centre them more. If you don't care about how that is accomplished, you can just use a really high order allpass filter to achieve it, or as a side effect of pretty much any FFT process that has a huge FFT size and large window

my thoughts exactly.
You can't "remove phase" as it means nothing, he probably means removing the negative part of the waveform.
you can do that with an assymetric waveshaper as TIMT noted, i can only think of iZotope Trash and lucky for you it's free currently.
FabFilter saturn has a "Rectify" under FX but you can't chop off the negative portion, it's mirrored over to positive side.
