Yeah I tried to look into synth V and it was all very confusing.

Is the vibrator in that "to the moon" song programmed/customizable? The tone of the voice is good for the most part but the vibrato sound horrible

TBH the official digital storefronts for the SVS Pro editor do not have Western buyers in mind. But as Eleanor AI is exclusive to AniCute right now, it's probably more "convenient" to buy from them because you can do everything at once--get the 2 in 1 Bundle of Eleanor AI + ANRI and then put SVS Pro into your cart.

It might be possible to get the SVS Pro + Eleanor bundle and add ANRI after, because ANRI appears as a separate product for customers who preordered Eleanor.

AniCute's prices are cheaper than AHS, too, so I think people prefer to buy from there.

There ARE multiple links for exactly the same product, they just list them in 3 different languages. For everything! Why?? (You can choose the ones described in English.)

At checkout,
  • Use the PayPal International or Credit Card (Visa JCB Mastercard Unionpay) "Payment Type" options.
  • For "Delivery Option", choose "No Need" for digital-only orders.
  • For "Recipient Info", check off "Bring Member Profile" to copy your "Member Info" payment address into the fields.
:!: Old posts on the official Synthesizer V forum note that PP might be user-to-user transfer (send to someone's email) rather than the expected business flow, I don't know if it's improved. I think delivery is also manual, so transactions will be handled on Taiwan time.

If you pay with credit card, the store will save that information to use next time.

 AHS' checkout is way easier once you get past the Japanese product page because it switches to the region-aware Cleverbridge store. I hope they eventually sell Eleanor AI.

During the SOLARIA kickstarter, people were asking Eclipsed Sounds if they could *PLEASE* sell Synthesizer V Studio Pro. Now that we're getting Western-developed voices, Dreamtonics really ought to partner with a distributor outside East Asia.

Vibrato is added to new notes by default, but yes you can customize to turn that competely off and adjust per note. This is testable in the freeware SVS Basic edition, for people who wanna try it out.

Thanks @Pelicanomicon for the comprehensive response. Much appreciated. :tu:

AniCute had preorder bundles with the SVS Pro editor and Eleanor AI, but for some reason they're gone now. There's only a 2-pack with Eleanor for ~ US $166.

AUDIOLOGIE also posted this demo which is a nice, jazzy use of the voice and...

Eclipsed Sounds have announced that SOLARIA will be commercially released on 19 January 2022 and
uploaded a short demo by Circus that demonstrates the voicebank's default sound:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MndJGQZUetE
Circus explains
https://twitter.com/VocaCircus/status/1 ... 1213199364
The one thing to keep in mind with this short version is that there's NO Tension or Tone shift editing. It's solely pitch editing to try and showcase how the vb sounds by default.
Now that is a power vocal  It really does depend on the corpus!

Eclipsed Sounds also note that SOLARIA has been trained for situational vocal fry
https://twitter.com/eclipsedsounds/stat ... 7450002433
Similar to her voice provider, SOLARIA will occasionally vocal fry given certain input! (Done using the 'stop' [cl] phoneme in Synthesizer V - typically performs best between vowels and in low ranges) This is another aspect of realism that we retained in the library.
And a reminder: the free Lite version of AUDIOLOGIE's ANRI will come out on Saturday the 18th.

ETA: In response to community feedback, Eclipsed Sounds will release a SOLARIA free Lite vb at some point after commercial launch :tu:

thanks you Pelicanomicon also for the info and updates ,

i just got Synthesizer V Pro + Eleanor bundle from AniCute yesterday (all went well bought with card , after 2 hours order went from processed to dispatched and i got links to download app+database and the activation serials to my e-mail) once i discovered this vocaloid-like voice synthesizer even exists yesterday too, im sort of amazed , 75megabytes for the app and 25megabyte Voice database and sounds amazing , already made a couple of cool vocal tracks

only thing worrying me now is the 3 activation times maximum ,ok i activated app and voice bank on this pc on my nvme ssd , what happens if tommorow my ssd or pc (mobo, cpu) fails and i have to change to a new one ? yes i clone-backup my system every now and then but dont now how this works so losing 1/3 licenses worries me, i have had plenty of failed disks,re-formats,burnt mobo stories from years ago and lost projects i only where able to remake thru memory so i always worry bout stuff like this, but from what i read on forum probably if you explain the situation and why you werent able to deactivate license of a failed ssd or burntout pc you will get license back

so far i love the workflow , works faster and more intuitive to me than vocaloid and others , just out of the box i was making decent sounding female vocals without seing any tutorials yet,

anyway i downloaded all the videos i found online official (Synthesizer V Studio Tutorial Series 9 videos) and by users (Let's Create a Song in Synthesizer V Studio Basic! (A Walkthrough Tutorial),DelphiP vidz, etc) to start learning the ins and outs

found a useful png showing the shortcuts for example brl (breathe long) br1 (breathe),tr on official twitter channel, from what i saw on the forums this kind of shortcut cheat-sheet would be useful to have for each singer, and today im going to dabble into using Synth V Pro as a vsti in Cubase and Ableton and FL my 3 favorite daws, saw some videos of it working fine in logic pro and presonus studio one

anyway program and Eleanors vocal seems amazing , checked out some other vocals too Anri,Chuyn sound amazing also so for the meantime i downloaded their downloaded their lite-demo svpk's (synth v's voice database pack) , this looks like a really decent project and i hope it keeps on going strong, audiology say they are going to release many new vocal packs too in the future,i for one prefer it than alternatives , lots of potential

thanks again @Pelicanomicon for all the useful info

@ZincT @koukouba, thank you for the kind feedback. A lot of people find this kind of technology to be offputting, and sometimes I worry if posting about it is a nuisance to the board. But as koukouba says, there is lots of potential so I post just in case Synthesizer V (and other vocal synths) happens to be what someone has been looking for all this time :)

@koukouba also thanks for referencing those YT user vids! Here they are (I think?) for ppl who have been wanting tutorials

Being a newbie in this particular field of synthesis, I would also like to thank Pelicanomicon for guidance and news in this thread. Very much appreciated indeed!

Kind regards,

Thanks @koukouba and @Pelicanomicon, much appreciated.

I learned a lot just from watching the first video e.g. use of +, -, arpabet, parameter curves. It seems these voices are very controllable at a detailed level!

One thing I still haven't figured out is the difference between the SV Basic and Pro. I noticed a 16 bar limitation when using Eleanor Forte AI Lite last night; is that a limitation with the Lite voice bank or with SV Basic?

Here's my newbie attempt at using ANRI Lite https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14360315

@ZincT

some differences of SynthV Basic and Pro are these (as mentioned both on official site and here https://vocapigeon.wordpress.com/2020/1 ... oicebanks/ )

What is the difference between Basic and Pro?

Basic has some cons, as a free version:
– 3 tracks limit per project (including both vocal and instrumental tracks)
– 2-Core rendering
– No script usage
– No Alternate phoneme choices in phoneme control
– AI voices can’t use the strength parameter
– No AI tuning on full or lite AI voicebanks

But it also has Pros
– Great accessibility as a professional tool for vocal synthesis works production
– Fully compatible with paid vocals
– Has many limited, but free vocals to use
– No limit on saving/loading or parameter use other than those found in the panels (will elaborate below)
– Full AI features

Pro Version has its pros:
– Exported vocal tracks can have aspiration as a separate wav
– Up to 8-core rendering
– Custom Scripts with huge potential
– Alternate phoneme choices (“Alternate phoneme choices” doesn’t mean phonetic input is limited in Basic, but refers to a feature not seen before in editors of its kind. There are two extra choices in how each phoneme is pronounced alongside phonetic timing.)
- Can be used as VST plugin inside your DAW

Now as for the differences between Lite and Full Purchased Voice Databases

Lite Version
-Expression Group : one pitch only
-Auto Pitch Tuning : none
-Commercial Usage : not permitted
-You must mention "this work uses Lite Version" in your tracks title

Paid Version of Vocals
-Expression Group : three pitches or more
-Auto Pitch Tuning : depending on voice database (from what i've gathered AI version vocalpacks has this , Standard vocal databases are a bit more limited than AI versions but to some sound better ,since they involve actually recording the singer live , Eleanor comes only in AI and lite version because she couldnt actually go to the company to make the recordings due to covid outbreak)
-Commercial Usage : Permitted
-Attributions : Not required to mention anything in your released track title

here some more tutorial videos from official site (9 video playlist)
