guys if you want nice texture to the sound try vult debriatus with little sat and disto + punch vca ... i don t know why and maybe it ws just on the few patchs i tested but i never heard that sound coming out from a computer while i have so many saturators and stuff like that, no to say it s better but it s seem unic sounding with plugins, but gave me instant nice analog mojo and nice texture.
it feel like vult approach to modelling is unic from the sound , not to say it s better or worst but it s not a sound that i m used to hear with the computer ( maybe i will change my mind with more time )

i read more about vult and when he want to emulate something he first try to recreate it with real circuits it seems, he can mod it also and once he is happy with the sound he get he create the dsp codes it seems.. really intresting stuff.
i was using nitrous that he modelled on a 303 protype he made.. really nice for the sound i was making

if you like metallic timbre give a try to tiny tricks simplex and wavetable .. great stuff.. the table osc has 3 input to record a table one for begining one for middle one for end and then it can scan / morph between, also possible to add 2 osc that can be syncro / detuned /and have different starting table cycle and you can triger the recording mean it can probably sample new wavetables and scan them all in syncro via modulation

Nice, it even includes their newest one. (Although a digital TZFM oscillator isn't nearly as impressive as pulling it off in analog as well as they did.)

Ha, just been watching Omri’s latest vid and it’s all about the Instruo modules coming to v2

Lovely kind of ‘bursts of arp’ towards the end.

the complex osc at 16x oversampling sound really good.. it s hard to go back to lower sample rate once you have heard it at that rate when pushed but it take too much cpu otherwise
edit: actually it depends on some patch it make almost no difference even pushed with the fm.. it s in some case with pwm on top

Don't forget Cardinal. It extends Rack with many of the features of Pro, including the plugin wrapper, and current builds are M1 native. Not sure how it supports the 3rd party modules. It comes with a bunch preinstalled. I'm betting individual devs would need to recompile for M1 support.

It currently 'only' has open source modules incorporated into the plugin, no link to the library etc. Having said that, there're still hundreds of modules in there so more than enough for casual use for when you need it in your DAW but haven't bought VCV2. I'm definitely a casual user so happy to just pipe Rack into a DAW generally and use Cardinal if I really want midi control etc.teilo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 21, 2021 1:31 pm Don't forget Cardinal. I raised an issue about the resizing of the window (resize handle appears but doesn't currently do anything) which is being worked on. It's still usable but with a little more scrolling than I'd like.

Do you have to build this yourself? Can't see anything to open in the downloadable zip file.teilo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 21, 2021 1:31 pm Don't forget Cardinal.
