BTW, The County Medical Examiners did a great pastiche of the Reek of Putrefaction/Symphonies of Sickness album covers. I never understood why members of the heavy-rock bands are trying to look so tough, yet they all have long nice hair like Barbie-girls. Can someone explain this to me?!?!

My vote is for the Jane's Addiction album covers. And I used to have a poster of that Nine Inch Nails collection of feces that's on the cover the Downward Spiral (in my youth, I too was ignorant and I likely still am). It definately deserves a vote or two.

The cover of the Downward Spiral is awesome. Even if you don't think it's great or arn't into that sort of artwork, I don't think you can justifiably call it a thoughtless, worthless, piece of shit.

It was actually a cheese cloth left out to rot a little or something. There can be beauty in decay and rot, as well as fear, intrigue, disgust, etc.
