I was wondering how to create the initial bassline of this track? 0:00 - 0:07
My initial (probably incorrect) thoughts:
- Not exactly sure if it's a saw wave, but I think it's two saw wave-like waveforms, one pitched down? Possibly a saw with a square wave, because it does have a square like quality to it in the high end. The frequency spectrum in spectrum analyzer confused me, it looked like two different waveforms from the high and low end mashed together.
- An downward LFO attached to pitch so that it bends as the note progresses. Although this might possibly be done with automation?
- The second half of the phrase, the bass doubles up.
I tried creating it, but it really didn't sound anything like it, aside from the pitch bend (kinda).
Hoping to learn more, please help me out
