I'm a newbie in the audio arena, and I'm looking for advice on what software/tutorials I should buy to get started. I'm mainly interested in writing songs with my usb piano(scoring?) and doing loops with virtual instruments. Later I want to try recording my gutair into the mix. I've heard that "Energy-XT" and "tracktion" and "Fl studio" are good cheap pieces of software to start with? Any other suggestions would be great!

Tracktion is FREE for the NFR release. Newbie and T go hand in hand. It's a no brainer combo, and you'd be pretty hard pressed to find such a sequencer at absolutely no cost.

Welcome Hyper (fellow Georgian here). Get Tracktion here. Go here for a good tutorial site.
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".
