Last year I did a poll and video about the best synth plugins of the year, which was a lot of fun so why not do it again?
The poll contains 21 preselected options for you to choose from which appear in randomized order. Multiple choices are allowed, and I encourage you to add your own entry with the "other"-option if you don't see your favorite in there.
If you do add something keep in mind it should follow the rules of the poll:
1. The plugin must have been released or significantly updated in 2021
2. It must be a synth plugin (not just a sample player or drum machine)
3. It must be an independent product which can run on multiple DAWs without depending on other specific commercial products (i.e. no Reason Rack Extensions, UAD plugins, Reaktor ensembles etc).
