Behringer Um2 not working with WF11

Hey all, new here and new to computer audio recording. I have a Behringer U-Phoria Um2, trying to use it with Waveform 11, and any time I select it as an audio input, I get this error:

"error when trying to open audio device! Couldn't open the input device!"

It seems to work ok with a simple app like Audacity, and windows itself, but can't get it to work with WF11. Any thoughts?
