The birds are back!
https://soundcloud.com/anotherbenjamin/full-circle
Triple Cheese was one of the first VSTs I ever downloaded. It holds a special place in my heart. I participated in the last Triple Cheese round (OSC 116) with a tune about seasons changing and leaves falling; here I'm revisiting that theme and many other ideas from my OSC journey. I've even imitated the motifs from ~6 of my older OSC tracks to tie things together.
Made with love and joy in REAPER 6 using 39 instances of Triple Cheese, plus
13x ReaEQ
3x ReaComp
3x Valhalla Supermassive
3x GClip
2x Protoverb
2x OTT
2x ReEQ
Cocoa Delay
PizMidiDelay
ZEEK STFU
PizMidiChannelFilter
AllPassPhase*
MTS-ESP Mini**
Voxengo SPAN
Signalizer
DC1A3
ReaLimit
Cockos Loudness Meter
* I know there was a whole conversation about the legality of AllPassPhase earlier but in this case it's not doing any major changes to the sound, and nothing is modulated here. I have it set at only 6 iterations on an already snare-like snare; AllPassPhase just makes the fundamental a little more prominent in the sound.
** The piece is tuned in 17edX, used as an octave-stretched 14edo. It's the same tuning I used back in OSC 124, the first microtonal piece I ever completed.
As always, I'm happy to share any details/project files/patches etc from this song. I had a lot of fun making it and I'm happy to share everything I've learned in the process

Hmm not much time left for entries before the deadline: Hoping to hear stuff from @liqih, @jasinski, @IV!, @VCA-089, @Impedance Music, @treeheated etc.
I guess a flood of various tracks, from also others not mentioned, will show up before the deadline

I decided to contribute with an unfinished track, hope you still like it:
https://soundcloud.com/hanzmeyzer/kvr-o ... eese-ditty
What I like about the synth:
- Very nice sounding, very unusual concept
- Lightweight, good effect sound, too
- Very good gui
- Free
What I don't like about it:
- The usual U-He/Renoise "won't fix" catch-22 situation for macos users:
- No separate output for reverb and delay, no fx panning (should be standard)
- ADSR effect on sound seems to be not always very intuitive (maybe lack of knowledge, RTFM)
Since this synth is free, I can't complain about anything
Was a lot of fun to try this one.

What I don't like about it:
- The usual U-He/Renoise "won't fix" catch-22 situation for macos users:
- LFO does not sync, only after midi reset
GUI select boxes do not work with Renoise windows-focus-mode.
IMHO U-He finally should fix these.

Is it allowed to automate the synths parameters from the outside ? For instance, I would like to map the pitch with "configure" in Ableton to make a kick. Is this accepted ?

Oh god, when trying to find freeware stuff I totally forgot I could use analog obsession for these challenges. Oh man, time to download a bunch of them.

Hi everyone,
It has been a number of years since I've entered a KVR One-Synth Challenge, but I'm glad to participate this month. My very silly submission is called "The Trouble With Triples" (riffing off a classic and particularly campy Star Trek episode with a similar name) and it entails three minutes and three seconds of pure cheese. Its construction required many, many triplets...
I also used twenty-one instances of Triple Cheese. Other than trying it for a few minutes when I first downloaded it many years ago, I hadn't used this synth at all. It's been a fun learning experience!
I used multiple instances of the following DAW/free effects:
- Studio One compressors, EQs, limiters, and binaural panning;
- TDR SlickEQ, Nova, Molotok, and Kotelnikov (only free versions);
- Klanghelm IVGI2;
- Elysian Niveau (tilt EQ);
- Fircomp (free version)
I used exactly one instance of each of the following free effects:
- Loudmax (on one channel);
- Valhalla Supermassive (on send);
- A1 Stereo Control (on master);
- Studio One X-Trem (tremolo/autopan);
- Limiter #6 (original free version, on master);
- Voxengo Stereo Touch (on one channel);
- Klanghelm MJUC Jr. (free version, on one channel)
If anyone has specific suggestions for how to mix this better, please let me know. Looking forward to hearing everybody's tracks!

So this is it! My submission and domination before the Music.
This music is about the fact that even in a noisy company and in the family circle, everyone should find a few minutes of privacy and silence to think about what he really wants to make a wish on the border of years, and why he wants it... because the most intimate desires can come true in the most incomprehensible way - this is the law of nature!
https://soundcloud.com/user-5930296/iv- ... d-feelings
24 Triple Cheese, 20 presets, 7 of them borrowed and changed.
Cakewalk, Win7/64bit.
FX: Bionic Delay, Blindfold EQ, Broadcast, Classic Compressor, DC1A, DD Delay, Density MkIII, Dimension+, EveryTrim, Giant Verb, GMonoBass, Harqules, LCF, Luftikus, Satellite, SSQ, Supermassive, Verberate Basic 2, Wider.
Just thanks All.
And Happy New Year!
