all the changes for each update are listed on the site.

Atlas
2.1.1
Mostly an important bugfix update but also introduces Native Mac Silicon support and better compatibility with older versions of MacOS.
Recommended.
IMPORTANT Bugfix: Fixed some samples not being categorized correctly. This meant some categories were wrong or some samples were not getting into the map. Maps created with Atlas 2.1 will need a FULL REBUILD (hold shift when clicking rebuild).
Bugfix: Maximize sequencer window is now correct size in 1x8 and 2x8 drum kit modes.
Bugfix: Fixed missing drag image when dragging sample from map or drum kit.
Bugfix: Sequencer 'Velocity always editable' setting now working correctly.
Bugfix: VST3 multichannel outs now working in Reaper and other DAWs. (VST3 only)
Bugfix: Fixed Linux project load/save. (Linux only)
Bugfix: Linux drag-drop to other apps improvements. (Linux only)
Bugfix: Fixed bug where some MIDI files wouldn't import.
Bugfix: Fixed crash that occasionally happened in Reaper when doing an Undo. (may happen in other DAWs too)
FEATURE: Native Mac Silicon version.
FEATURE: Atlas should now run on older versions of MacOS.

Glad that's done! :D

I tried this and was finding that there wasn't much in common soundwise between the samples near to each other. Have others found this?

Just noticed that they're doing a flash sale - 30% off Atlas 2 until the 28th December, so $69.

I'm probably missing something obvious... Whenever I open Atlas its UI is in its (small) default size. I can resize it (dragging the bottom right edge), but upon re-opening Atlas the UI is small again. I can't find any setting that allows me to store (and auto-open) the custom UI size that I use. This is on MacOS b.t.w.

Any ideas?

Oh, I'm using the standalone app. And from there, I drag the samples to Bitwig. I take it Atlas 2 doesn't have a setting for this then? That's a strange oversight.

Anyway, thanks!

settings; scroll down to 'auto scale on resize'; uncheck, drag bottom right to resize or type a value (ie 1.5) in the scale override window. first thing i did when i got this

The only thing that does (on my system) is adjust the scaling (size of the symbols etc.). The problem is that the window size keeps resetting to it's default size, upon re-opening the app.

I contacted Matt about this and he confirmed that this is indeed the current resizing behavior (you have to resize each time you open the app) and that he's working to improve this.

hmm. anyway, works fine here in logic (but yes, the standalone reverts to the initial size). i never use it standalone...

So far for most things I'm liking Atlas over XO especially the sequencer, but I'm not completely getting the browser, it seems far less organized than XO which sorts by length etc. as well as precision style. is there an organization there I'm missing?

tl;dr - Does anyone know how to load saved maps

I sent the following to Algonaut support. Just thought I would ask here also to see if someone had run across this and had a fix.

Building maps in Atlas inside of Bitwig and the plugin crashed. Re-loaded the plugin and the maps I created were missing from the map browser. However, the maps are in the hard-drive folder with the other maps that do appear. Tried the standalone version and they didn't show up there either. Tried drag and drop with no luck.

I would also like to know. I am running Live 11 and beta on the same machine. I can see the maps in the beta but not in Live 11 non beta. Would be nice if there was a reload type of situation/option.

Matt got back to me (quickly) and the solution is to use the Refresh button in the Browser. It reloaded the Maps for me.

edit: Also there is a new version at the website. He just uploaded it a day or so ago.
