Finally found someone selling a Microfreak at a decent price on Reverb so just started off 2022 with my main (affordable) hardware wishlist item ticked off.

Congrats!

It seems like ALL the Arturia gear is getting pricey on Reverb lately.
I'm involved with photography & audio. For more info, take a look at my site:

Since the Brexit fun and games I've ended up having to filter out everything except UK so it really cuts down on options.
Some of the European dealers state fairly low shipping costs, but I still think it's too much of a lottery right now.

I keep looking at the 3D printed stands for Microfreak but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Initially, I didn't want the touch capacitive keys, but I have to admit, they're growing on me.

I don't know why we took so many years to f**k ourselves when there are those machines you buy that can do it for you

I probably don't need one of these Dr. Scientist Spectrum Analyzer Pedals...
But you know, blinky lights are important, for the mood, yeah that's it. :tu:

So I am planning to buy one in 2022...

Maybe everyone needs one of those, especially the times there’s no sound, and you need to troubleshoot!

I think so definitely. :)

I probably should not have taken notice of those other pedals in that video either.
vurt's fuzz off thread is sure to get interesting now.

*At least for he and I anyway. Most everyone else would probably be like wtf?

A little surprised at myself, but I just bought a Fantom 6. Will sit nice next to the Kronos. :)

Which ones? I was intrigued, but the main one I found was actually a case that lets you turn it into a keyboardless module, which was kinda interesting, but Im quite happy having the keyboard.

For the enclosure, I’m guessing it’s the same one you probably have seen, if not please share because I’m still curious about what options are available.

Otherwise, for the stand it’s the same maker. It keeps the keyboard, it’s tilted at 23° and cleverly uses the undercarriage indentations to stay in place without adding a plastic lip.

I have other stands from them and most were fine, well supported (steady) but the single tier stands I bought for the make noise desktops need frequent readjustment.

I’m liking the keyboard now that I have it, but before purchasing I thought I’d want to ditch it for a smaller footprint.

Doh! I wasnt actually looking at premade ones, I was looking at the STL files. Same grid pattern on them, so I guess they're from the same STL source, or a variant...

The author is the same seller… I would love to be able to print one of these out instead of buying (but I’m guessing it’d be more expensive to own the printer, and then there’s the unwritten price of upset looks from the missus).

Damn that’s a beast! Congrats. I wasn’t even aware of it but looks lovely for using as a self contained system.
