Hi!

Does anyone know if there is any setting forcing Ableton Live to add 3rd party plugins folded instead of unfolded? I never use this X/Y pad and it takes free space of the bar.

Could maybe be done via Max4Live. If the guy who wrote LoadeR (https://valiumdupeuple.gumroad.com/l/agUro) takes suggestions, he might be able to do something. He's posted here occasionally, username is 'Crampe'

it's also possibly something for the Live Enhancement Suite (https://enhancementsuite.me), which is a Lua script + m4l hybrid and useful in other ways.

Whoa. Is this stable or does it make Live behave like a card house in wind?

ymmv but it seems stable for many people, though i've seen some people say online it's not working well for them. it doesn't rely on undocumented weirdness in Live, it's more on the level of automating keystrokes and stuff.

Ableton Live. Folded VSTs and VSTis by default
