I came across this as well. I found that if you click on the name of the mix/template below the icon and not on the icon the menu will come up.

Tried the same with Rob Papen Predator 3 and Blade 2 - seemed to work OK. Will try some of their other synths.
i thought they were working fine at first also, but you have to look closely and change presets and over time you will notice small irregularities begin to show up...(preset names will be garbled, waveform displays will show big black blocks instead of waveforms, or part and partial of above)

U-He - Diva initially showed only about 3/4 of its UI then it resized to fit the window and worked ok. I was able to change presets from its UI. Same happened with Hive 2 apart from the UI which I had to manually change to about 90% size. Presets loaded and worked fine. Will try some other U-He after lunch (Zebra, Bazille, Repro).
again, interesting. as i mentioned, it was a completely empty window frame for me. I did not play around with it much to see if it ended up getting drawn, but I will try that now....
I no longer have Roland Cloud so cannot test that.
since the behavior is the same as Massive X, I am hopeful that a fix for that may resolve it for the Roland Cloud plugs as well.
I noticed that the RAM usage was up around 7.6Gb with Kontakt loaded plus the instruments mentioned. I have 32Gb so not an issue but I guess if you have 8Gb it might be.
32 GB RAM here.

ok, went and played with this some more. On first attempt to reproduce, Kontakt was again completely unresponsive. however, on subsequent attempts, it suddenly "woke up" and worked a charm. still not sure what and why, though! something intermittent is happening here...

EDIT: it has something to do with perhaps another dialog box or something hidden behind the main app (although it does not show up when i look for it) but if i right-click on the Wotja icon in the taskbar, it wakes up and becomes responsive. but it still can freeze after that in a similar way...

EDIT2: i have also had Kontakt crash twice with an error message dialog to contact Native Instruments. I have never seen this behavior from Kontakt before, and I have not been able to reliably reproduce it here.

ok. playing with this some more and I discovered that the GUI in Diva, Hive 2, etc. WILL draw correctly but not until I click inside the empty window frame. after that it seems to work fine.

Good that we are now getting similar results. I wonder if the unresponsiveness is the same issue that's causing the DAW screen to not be updated when the Wotja UI is open with the plugin version.

Was there any particular Rob Papen synth that had the issues you mentioned? I will try them again.

OMG, this is so confusing. I was about to type "All of them (I have the bundle)" but i decided to check it out more thoroughly before posting. And of course, now ALL OF THEM WORK. :dog:

very difficult testing this thing as it seems to behave slightly differently every time you run it.

or: i just haven't found the same combination of things i did just before i originally saw the issue.

i'll keep trying to narrow it down and post here if i discover the cause.

Have to say that with RP BIT (Virtual Analog Joy) playing on Ch1 and Zebra (HS Midimoon Mix+) on Ch2 using Ambient and Generator&Repeater it sounds fantastic!! Now back to testing :)

Don't worry, I had the same thing with the DAWs I tested on day 1 which all decided to work better on day 2. :?

i know what you mean: on day 1 I had wotja syncing to Live 11 tempo but not the transport.

today it won't sync to either one.

I would like to know how you did this.
Here's what I did in Bitwig/Live:

Wotja on track 1, Instrument on track 2, track 2 midi input has Wotja selected, in Live I had to additionally select "Wotja" again in the pre/post droptown.

I can't get channels to work though, it seems like all midi output is on channel one?
i see i can tell wotja which channel to output on, but unfortunately i cannot tell Live which channel to listen to. Live always seems to default to channel 1.

does anyone know of a way to use wotja in Live and have the same instance of wotja run mutiple tracks in Live on different channels?
