it will feel sepecial to reload my banks after 10 years, some patchs i still havent found better replacement

made a few patchs , i forgot how much that thing was plastic and pillowy and organic.. thanks you so much to bring back the C .. it s really amazing to be abble to use as a plugin

kinda like a plugin with no ui , labelled sliders and thick boxs but you can use a virus midi editor like virushe demo ..

acutally with the no ui i find some programing stuff that i didn t know was possible with the real hardware..

so in a way it s more clear that way

You gotta be kidding me.

Pretty much impossible to program the synth like that... especially when you're not familiar with the controls of it.

At least I appreciate "real" GUI's even more now.

i am using the AU version with logic and hostingAU on my old mac mini and have some issues:

to name a few:

cpu spikes
normally it would run at about 15% in logic but gets hevy spikes each and every second
resulting in cpu-overload crackles

does not react to aftertouch/channel pressure
for example the preset "G27 EddieWho?M@" has a wild vibrato with the aftertouch (on the original virusB)
not so in the AU

cannot test VST via MetasynthPlugin or Element (meta hosting): does not work...

but OTOH:
quite impressive how perfectly identical it is to the original virusB, which i have
just tried it and compared the two
banks G and H are the same and simply: wow!

interesting:
if edited with mysteryisland
(that only seems to work in hostingAU not in logic - instant crash)
quite some of the G and H presets are slightly, or even more different
for example iirc bank G "BigPadSWM@" is missing the filter step sequenzing in mysteryisland
and "BGot90s" has a closed filter1...
