I have recently taken out a subscription with Wippit.com.
As part of the subscription, I have access to all of the Ninja Tunes back catalogue - anyone has any suggestions for which artists I should download.
In case anyone is wondering Wippit.com is a music download provider that works in a slightly different way to the likes of Napster or Itunes and caters more to the independent/leftfield taste in music but still covers a lot of mainstream as well.

A few of my favourites:
Mr Scruff - Keep it Unreal
Cinematic Orchestra - Every Day
Herbalizer - Something Wicked This Way Comes
Jaga Jazzist - A Living Room Hush
Plenty of other great albums in there too though

Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

i second what nuffink sais ...xen cuts... it was the first NT album i heard and i still listen to it now, their older compilations called ninja cuts are totally fat (scratchmalogical waxploitation, funkjazztical tricknology, funkungfusion, etc) theres a few of em and they all have tracks from loads of artists off the label so could be a good introduction to the label.
personally i dont rate the new stuff coming out from the last 2 years, even the last cinematic orchestra album was a bit of a let down (man with a movie camera) great live show though. i prefer the older ninja stuff a lot more, like whats been mentioned here, amon tobin, coldcut...
actually try to find a double cd album called cold crush kuts, its 2 mixes, one by coldcut and one by dj krush... top instrumental hiphop action there...
i hope ninja get back to producing the timeless shit they are so good at, the new stuff like Pest is just so boring and forgettable. one of my fave labels ever

Which reminds me to drop by there too; waiting for the Skalpel CD atm. Saw the Zen DVD (or something like such a title with all ninja's) at vurt´s and enjoyed.
isn´t Filia Brazilia also ninja?

So true. Funki Porcini "Hed Phone Sex" is a modern classic. This is one of the greatests albums in my collection, and some of the best chill'ed dub triphop tracks ever. From before Funki Porcini went all weirdo...What, no Funki Porcini?
That said, Amon Tobin's stuff is also amazing. And another vote for Cinematic Orchestra "Motion".

definitely Amon Tobim, 'supermodified' and 'permutation' are just great.
