_sses at google shutdown account for sending a dozen tiny mp3's (now restored)

I sent mp3's to a loved one, which are not yet at the Spotify and related sites.
I have routinely sent email attachments to this same person for years, although
not 12 in a row. So much for their ai and analytics...pathetic bafoons in my eyes.

If it were a type of content I never sent before, sent to a party I have not sent
anything to before, perhaps they should at least query me, before shutting off the flow.

Not to mention their tightwad 25 meg limit on attachments, in a world
lurching towards 5g

No, it's a very old daily-use account, send frequent mp3 attachments, and in 2021, I purchased their basic storage plan.

you hit one of their spam trigger by the looks of it. 419-spammers use gmail a lot - with lots of accounts set up and used in parallel. so if they’re finally cracking down on that and using comparatively low sending limits, I’m a happy camper.

There is no "they", it's just a bunch of half-baked alpo-riddums that can't figure out it's mp3 songs going to a regularly used address with a record of receiving such mp3's without complaints. A real "they" would have caught that, had they come up for air.

I shudder to think that any medical, military, or emergency services rely
on such weak systems.

But the account is turned on again, and I finished the little project.
Gave them 8 hours to get a clue.

yeah, of course I meant google employs elves rather than some firewall script that just counts the number of emails per minute from an account.

It takes me some time to find, import, and then describe each of the attachments prior to sending. Then there is extra time it takes to send each one out on their end, far from instantaneous, so there was a minute or more for each send to get out, not counting snacks and coffee time.

And I doubt spammers send out batches where every file is a different size, with a different name, and different time lag between each send. I imagine pro spammers are very precise and fast at sending uniform content, in comparison to my backyard efforts.
