Hello Guys,
first of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
Some months ago I started singing in a Choir and I realized I have a problem singing my voice (tenor) while hearing the others (I cannot read notes). Note we all sit on different tables.
So I had the idea to bring up a setup to avoid that.
I imagine the following:
Laptop with a notation software (that can play all the voices (alto, soprano, tenor, bass))
A soundcard with 4 outputs fitting the software to channel all the voices on one output each
4 speakers, each on one table
Do you understand what I mean? Looking forward reading your Ideas.
Cheers Matthias

if your problem comes from being unable to read notes, the best solution is probably to learn to read notes.
it's easier than a lot of people think, and may well require less effort than trying to set up some sort of technical workaround.
not sure if you mean you have trouble hearing the others at all, or if they are too distracting? either way, it's a skill you will develop with time if you keep at it.

Is this an aid for individual practice (and learning to read notes)?
If so, I expect stereo speakers with panned parts will be sufficient. If not, I still don't understand what you are trying to achieve.
