I would love to be able to adjust the Gate Time on each step (in the arp window) to finer values, as opposed to just double or half!
I figured out a good work around for the timing issue at higher buffer settings in BitWig if anyone’s interested.

Can anyone explain how to set up this great looking VST on Cakewalk?I'm new to Cakewalk so I'm having a bit of trouble finding clear instructions as to how to do this.
Thanks

Update: BlueARP v2.3.8
https://omg-instruments.com/wp/?page_id=46
(I have a new website)
ChangeLog:
1. Apple M1 silicon compatible - all OSX packages are compiled as Universal binaries
(both x86_64 and arm64), so they will run natively on M1 macs but will keep running
on Intel macs as before. M1 versions were tested on OSX 12.0.1 Monterey
2. Minimum OSX requirement raised to 10.9 Mavericks, yet the lowest tested is OSX 10.11 El Capitain
3. 32-bit OSX version is no longer supported (windows 32-bit version is still supported though)
If you really need 32-bit version for mac, email me, I think it is still possible to do on my older i5 mac mini
3. Updated GUI logic for OSX: now it is HiRes-ready, so on Retina displays BlueARP will
appear sharper and more detailed.
4. On Windows 4k displays, BlueARP will automatically scale up 2x times, so 100% GUI scaling will
be actually 200%. You can still make it smaller with added 60% and 75% scaling options
5. New 'auto start' values for 'arp mode' parameter. Allows to start arping automatically as
soon as 2 or 3 keys pressed, otherwise arp will be off or in thru mode. Allows to
combine arp lines and solo without switching 'arp mode'
6. 'rotate keys' parameter renamed to 'smart bend', logic updated to get better sonic results
(will be reflected in the manual in later releases, not yet)
Please note that now it is the single package for Windows containing VST and VST3, and the same for Mac (VST, VST3 and MIDI-FX). Also I have a new 'VST2 Legacy' version, use it if you have issues loading your saved projects. I changed vst2 plugin ID and name (to make in consistent with vst3), so likely older projects won't open with the new version, legacy vst2 will work. But better use this new 'vst2' or 'vst3' version in your new projects, cause I won't be updating this legacy vst2 version for long. I know this is PITA, but I had to do this at some point, cause I made it wrong initially and had to keep it for compatibility.

Thank you for your hard work. Would it be possible to release a Mac OS signed version to make installation less of pain?

What's the trick on Mac OS-X to get these to show up? I'm using a 2021 M1 MBP and Reaper. I've got the VST3 showing using the "Security & Privacy -> General tab -> Allow" thing, but the VST2 version doesn't work at all using that method, and the AU version isn't appearing at all. I'm new to Mac but I'm pretty sure there's some other trick to get them to show up (some quarantine procedure perhaps). Would appreciate any help.

It is strange cause this time I signed the binaries with my apple dev ID (and I had to pay apple 100$ for annual subscription to do that). AU version won't show up in reaper, it will work in Logic Pro only (it is a special type of AU called MIDI-FX)Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sun Jan 09, 2022 5:26 am What's the trick on Mac OS-X to get these to show up? Can you check the previous notarized version - will it have the same security issues?

I think it is possible to do the same way as velocity fine/coarse scale, I added this to my todo list.ollie.rollover wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2021 8:46 am I would love to be able to adjust the Gate Time on each step (in the arp window) to finer values, as opposed to just double or half!

Can you explain this Bitwig-related stuff? I don't use it, by I'm interested

In BitWig, after an instance of BlueArp, add a small predelay with TimeShift device (to catch any late notes from BlueArp, -20ms should be enough) then add a Quantize device. All sorted!

No issues with that notarized build. Reaper picked up the VST2 immediately.graywolf2004 wrote: Sun Jan 09, 2022 7:55 am It is strange cause this time I signed the binaries with my apple dev ID (and I had to pay apple 100$ for annual subscription to do that). But for some reason, I can't get the VST2 M1 build to get past Apple's security scan. Again, the M1 VST3, I was able to go to Security & Privacy and do the "Open Anyway" trick. But that's not working for the VST2 here. So they're not coming up as notarized.
I'm using the Reaper Universal Binary build for version 6.44. Let me know if you need me to check anything else.
