I listed my hardware because you make claims & i quote in you words "I understand people that never had the hardware." I follow my list with "this is besides the point" 
When you make a claim & get a response, don't then complain about said response.
We understand that you are upset you cant run the synth, but don't try and bury something with your huge lack of knowledge & understanding of concepts most here seem to grasp.
You have been consistently wrong about so many facts in this thread and people are a little bored of it.
There are multiple viruses such as the Virus Powercore & Virus TI which both operate without a DAC and are literally the virus code executed and digitally delivered to your DAW.
This is the same case here.
The only difference is the sample rate conversion.

Post an A/B compare of some basic filter sweeps one from the hardware one from the VSTi. If it's so different then we should all be able to hear too.

I applaud this project because it simply allows for people that never played a virus actually have the chance to find out the virus is nothing special .
I remember back in the day comparing the virus b to my nord lead ,it sounded sterile and flat ( booster and effects disabled ), the nord was full of live and a characterfull filter .
