Again, Bitwig is a hybrid: it’s a perpetual license that stays updated via subscription.

The key to a real subscription is that you lose access to the subscribed item once you stop paying. Not so with bitwig

Or you can buy a key for a year’s subscription ‘on sale’ and just sit on the key - let Bitwig’s update clock run out - then resubscribe when a feature is added to Bitwig that’s really compelling to you -

And unless Bitwig is releasing a new major version within that year, nothing is actually different.
