Yeah these are milled aluminum, there is a rubber sleeve inside that you can compress with the
screws if you want, so there is no metal to metal contact. They do make the buttons quite a bit
easier to operate with your hands. These only fit the standard sized buttons, the smaller one's
probably wouldn't work super well, even with the screws tightening things up.

*You also need to have a decent amount of travel on the switches, they don't work for my BOSS
looper for instance as they hit the enclosure before activating the switch.

i should just remember to put my trainers on before playing with pedals.
most modern bits aren't too bad, soft press on/off but a few older bits, require a push, it's like standing on lego!
you only do it once before you go and get the trainers

Just a heads up guys, in Britain "sneakers sorry" is just about the most offensive term you can use. Quite disgusting.

I had to buy some when using Red Panda's Tensor. That felt like stepping on a lego!

I bought the Barefoot Buttons ones. I don't have them on anything now, but I honestly should buy more for the Keeley pedals. Those are the only ones that are not the soft-push stomps and they can be annoying when I forget slippers.

I saw those and they are nice, expensive compared to the ones I got from Amazon.
I really wanted the rubber insert as I didn't want to scratch the buttons at all. Not as
secure as the barefoot buttons I'm sure, but perfectly fine for my purposes.

$25 for 12.

Finally received the Quilter Superblock today (they had to make it) and it's pretty sick, doesn't really have a clean channel in it, at least it's not like the Iridium where you can set the gain to 0. Set it to that on the Superblock and you'll get no sound out of it. You can go just above that so added distortion is minimal. The 24 volt power system makes for a ton of gain headroom (for a pedal) so it's really very nice. The XLR out, limiter and everything else is great as well.

Highly recommended amp-less solution, though it is really just a surprisingly small solidstate amp. :tu:

:hail: Wow! This thing is really excellent :tu: Definitely want to get the UK model as well.

The DM-2W is a great sounding pedal if you like a dark BBD. Which I do! The Waza line in general is really good from my limited experience (DM-2w, CE-2w, SD-1w).

Post

Was hoping for a CE-1w but I guess they’d charge about a grand for one if that actually happened

The CE-2w has got two "CE-1 modes" for the chorus/vibrato. They sound good. I just don't think they capture the preamp sound of the CE-1, but they have the vibe when it comes to the modulation.

Post

tbh if I was that fussed I'd probably just buy a Roland Jazz Chorus

Anyone got on any MemoryMan-style analog delay recommendations? Is the TT-550 the way to go? Anything better out there from other builders that's in the same vein (modulated analog delay)? Note: I've already got the DM-2w and a Strymon Timeline. Just looking for MemoryMan or similar-style clone-ish thing.

id go for the green/brown one, i think it's 1010? has two bbd so gives longer delays.
but both are great, depends what you need
(i have the stereo with hazari, which has presets, can do a nice reverse and has a built in looper)
