What is the « Emax Timestretch algorithm » ?? Care to share an example?

I think he refers to the old technique when you sample something at a higher pitch and play it back on a lower. Back then it was a great way to save memory + it made the sound a bit more lofi / mellower. It's a cool technique I'm still using to this day.

I'm not familiar with that specific timestretch but I do like the Tal Sampler vintage timestretch effect for exactly the purpose described above.
