oh don't worry! theres more to come, hadn't thought about synths tbh, but yup, im sure some of them will handle it :hihi: not sure how id feel putting a synth in to a germanium fuzz? might let someone else try that??

still have a couple to go before we even get to layering with other fx, seeing as uncle e opened that door 8)

keep the fuzz coming!! :band2:. (you'd think we'd at least have a keyboard player?)

I wanted to support Matt mostly. You can never have too many fuzz'z IMO...
That's great. Sound really rich. It's so nice to have the option to capture the preamp's output and that Quilter amp sounds really nice. It'll give you a lot of flexibility to shape the tone, if/when you chose to reamp later on or even if you go with a cab sim. Thanks for sharing!

I intended to include some synth sounds with my demos but I wasn't sure since this is the guitar forum. :dog: I could do another set to show off some fuzzed out synth sounds. At very least it's a good excuse to run the ARP through the old Big Muff. Or 0-Coast through Fuzz Factory.

Thanks justin! :) It's a great fuzz and fits pretty well among my other stuff. Since I tend to like
weird experimental effects. Speaking of which, I did happen to buy my first Fairfield Circuitry
pedal, the Unpleasant Surprise Fuzz/Gate. That one can actually make fart sounds. Stay tuned
for that.

The Quilter pedal is awesome, definitely a great way to go if one doesn't want to run a full amp setup
for whatever reason. It sounds great! Probably the best that I have ever used, though that's not saying
much unfortunately. If only I could do it justice  I still want to get one of those Hudson pre-amp
pedals as well, but I am still going back and forth between the broadcast AP and the dual ft switch probably.

guitarists pop up in the other thread, and they've got their own forum!

fuzz that synth :D

any advice re germanium? i know they don't handle powered pups too well, so line level may be problematic?

im thinking the cock fight might be nice though, with the wah filtering too 8)
and the data corrupter i have used in tracks, so i know can sound awesome on synth!! :D

For synths and drums I was going to use the fuzz as a send or insert on my mixer.
The zvex looks cool as a do it all fuzz. I was looking at the death by audio Apocalypse seems
like it would be good as well, 5 different fuzz types.

I'm also interested in the Ritual Grimalkin Fuzz, as it's kind of interesting and unique I think.

I'll probably decide on one more of these in addition to the unpleasant surprise which I already bought, then I'll give it a rest.

If I connect a synth or pedal with too low of output impedance some of my fuzz pedals and wah pedals won't work. It doesn't damage anything but the outputs are getting loaded I guess, so the pedals doesn't see any signal. Sometimes, just running through a passive attenuator helps, other times I need to use a reamp box or a another pedal before the fuzz to get things working. Usually if I'm using pedals with a synth, I go through one of my Radial EXTCs but it just depends. I don't want to make a definitive statement but in my experience, I haven't hurt anything by connecting line level signals to a pedal, even when they didn't end up passing sound.

Alright! That sounded like monkeys and then monkeys with lasers watching the Stanley Kubrick
Film "2001 a Space Odessey". :tu:

I think it's pretty safe to say that you my friend, are the Kurt Vonnegut of modular synthesis.

yeah, got some fun sounds, good thing about synth over guitar, it's easier to tweak both while playing :band:

These sound fantastic! I'll have to take another look at the Cockfight.
