That is not what I was told by Reveal Sound when I bought Spire second hand. I was told to backup the license file because it couldn't be added to your database or website. So who am I to believe now ?vega555 wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 2:13 pmAll information is stored in our databases. What happens if we lose the license ? That's it ? No proof ?
Thanks!

Your concern is understandable, but it is not yet technically possible to add all transfers, including old ones, to the personal accounts.LeVzi wrote: Wed Jan 05, 2022 6:30 am That is not what I was told by Reveal Sound when I bought Spire second hand. The presence of a license in your personal account also does not exempt you from problems with a complete loss of access to e-mail. In this case, all information also remains only in our database.
The advice you indicated (to make a backup of the license) is relevant to this day not only for transfers, but also for purchases.
To this day, not a single user who has lost a license has been left unattended. So please don't worry.

OK well that's more reassuring, thanks. But I hope you fix that issue where us who own Spire can have a personal account with Reveal Sound.

Did you guys try registering your serial number here? It is when bought from an authorized distributor, but perhaps it would work if you bought directly from Spire. I bought from a distributor and when registered using this link as suggested by the distributor, I can see Spire in my account.

Yeah maybe for that, but I am only referring to buying a license second hand as I did in the marketplace here. They cannot add it to their site as an account, which is something they need to sort out tbh.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Fri Jan 07, 2022 4:04 am Did you guys try registering your serial number here? Okay, so if I understand correctly, you don't get a serial number for second hand license - just the license file directly? If you got the serial number, you could have used the link I posted above, so that's not the case probably.LeVzi wrote: Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:25 pmYeah maybe for that, but I am only referring to buying a license second hand as I did in the marketplace here. I don't have a personal account either. Or, rather, I don't have my Spire license attached to it.LeVzi wrote: Thu Jan 06, 2022 9:11 am OK well that's more reassuring, thanks. But I hope you fix that issue where us who own Spire can have a personal account with Reveal Sound.
I don't see the problem. I have a backup, and a backup to the backup. And, further, I have some email correspondence in my mail account, which can prove that I own a license. Can't get much safer really.

Well you never know do you, I've made numerous backups, but its good to have proof from them in terms of an account showing you own Spire.chk071 wrote: Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:40 pmI don't have a personal account either. 3 2 1 ... ready for moan zone action
Why do we lose "favorites" if we rescan the damn presets?????
Just why?
All small software companies suffer and make their customers suffer too for the same reason... "They cannot decide on a DIRECTION"!!!!
I started getting fed up with synths changing sound every other .1 "update" because every random Benny wants more features or is a professional moaner that synth A and synth B are abandonware if they are not receiving an update every couple of months.
Do they moan the same for old gear that sounds the same since it came out of the factory?
It has started getting really frustrating creating 100s of presets for synths and even buying some preset packs etc only for them to sound like a turd a few months later.
Spire changed the way it sounds.. Sylennth changed the way it sounds.. and I can go on and on and on and on. "oh we tried to fix some aliasing issue... blablablablabla" Well now it sounds worse...
Am this far to sell all software synths from developers who hang themselves from every random person's balls buy a few good hardware synths and call it a day.
If you check major producers out there most of them have not updated their software synths in years.. AND THEY ACTUALLY MAKE MUSIC!!! They are not feature hunting.

Please contact support@reveal-sound.com with detailed info about your setup so we can determine your unique issue. Thanks.Sindikhate wrote: Fri Jan 14, 2022 6:50 pm Why do we lose "favorites" if we rescan the damn presets?????
We've done our best to keep the overall sounding of the engine, as well as preset compatibility, unchanged since the beta version.Sindikhate wrote: Fri Jan 14, 2022 6:50 pm Spire changed the way it sounds.. Sylennth changed the way it sounds..

I had the preset favourite issue too. I had contacted support who had no idea why it would happen. Sent them the presets, videos showing the issue.
In the end I had to revfavourite a few banks. It hasn't happened since fortunately.
The thing with me though is that only a few banks lost favourites status not all banks.
My guess was there was some version where there was an issue with favouriting and I just happened to favourite some banks with that version.

I am using Spire v1.5.9 on Windows 10 and the presets favoriting issue does not seem to be there.
Any idea when the new update coming with GUI resizing fixed for FL Studio?

As a workaround for now if you have another DAW installed you can use it to set the GUI size and then it's remembered when loading Spire into FL Studio. That's what I do here and it works perfectly.
If you're someone who likes to change GUI sizes frequently within a project it might be a bit of a kludge but I usually stay with one size so it's set and forget here....
