I can play keyboard a bit guitar a bit
And sing , but should someone who doesn't play keyboard care what someone who does thinks if they still make banging tunes ? Same with guitar should someone who only plays open chords care what a virtuoso thinks
Also Should we care about age ?
Should I not sing pop music because I'm 42 ?
Should I croon and sing old man hits ?
The point I'm trying to make here is to a certain extent people will always judge us and we are not always just doing this for ourselves
But so many judgements and ideas Can hold us back before we have even started
But should we care
Like are old people pigeonhold
Will a strumming guitarist worry if he doesn't command respect when people still love his music
Do you get wha I mean
When should we care and when shouldn't we ?

My inner perfectionist has killed my love of recording, along with a number of other factors, so I am not one to give advice on this topic. Except, vurt is right. And that is the only commandment in the 'Satanic Bible.'

So you're saying you're a reformed Satanist?

It's a huge question that is going to require personal wisdom. I don't think anyone can answer for anyone else but in general: Invest energy in the things you can change; accept and forget the things that are out of your control.
