insofar as music goes, no one gets hurt, if it's bad, or "wrong" (whatever that means) (ear damage is possible obviously but that's possible with good music if loud enough).

I refer the OP to the general rule that the amount of f**k given about public (most of whom appear to be tossers anyway) opinion is inversely proportional to increasing age.

If you want to have friends and be part of society at large, you should definitely care what people think. If you want to be a weird loner who’s social interaction is typing messages on music forums, you can totally not give a sh!t what anyone thinks. On one hand, it’s quite liberating, but it is also sad and fairly lonely.
