Thank you for confirming that. You got yours, I got mine. I my perception, displaying the user name or some other identifying information is very useful, and thus we made the choice to keep doing that. Your perception may vary on the subject, but that doesn't mean that mine is invalid.

So, to recap: some users think it is valuable if a soft-synth does NOT display their name or any other PII.
Some developers think that it is valuable if a soft-synth DOES display the user's name and/or other PII.
Well.
Gentlemen: draw your pistols.

Kind of useless with the amount of arrogance displayed here.
I think I brought up some good points, but, hey.

Yeah, that helps a lot if you purchased the plugin way before starting to make podcasts.Synthack wrote: Sun Jan 16, 2022 1:50 pm1. That's easy to fix. If you're going to be doing this for business reasons, you specify that when buying the licence.jens wrote: Sun Jan 16, 2022 1:41 pm1.) if you're streaming live that option goes out of the windowSynthack wrote: Sat Jan 15, 2022 9:17 pm If you're the person putting up tutorials, then just censor the info out via editing. Takes a bit of work but it's definitely doable.
2) "takes a bit of work" is quite the understatement here

I am, so I know that it can be a lot of work. Your post however proves that you are not.2. It's not that hard if you are competent with video editors.
Everything you wrote here makes me think that you are profoundly immature. The typical KVR-fanboyism-culture comment makes me think you're kind of immature.

First thing that comes to my mind on seeing this is how apt a description it is of the majority of your behaviour at KVR. Devil-advocating against people who have an issue with devs is what you do here, persistently.chk071 wrote: Sun Jan 16, 2022 2:08 pmFirst thing that came to my mind. An idiot on Set Theory:
