oh sorry I didn't want to repeat myself:

the problem I have is that when I play a vst synth with my midi keyboard some notes simply disappear and when I press a key no sound comes from it...
or other times the note gets stuck and sounds forever (this only happens with wusikstation)

and the most strange of it all is:

1. that doesn't happen in FL 4, so it's not that my midi keyboard or the vst synths work badly.

2. my midi settings in FL5 are the same as those in FL4.

I've tried downloading and installing FL5 again...no success.

I know it's sytange, and I know that no-one seems to be having the same problem.
but I assure this is as I say, and I don't know what to do since I seem to be the only one, damn!

Could you at least link to your post about the bug? I've yet to find any real bugs. I have found a couple of annoying "this used to work like this in 4.5 but doesn't work in 5.0 any more", like the fact that you now have to insert a pattern block in the pattern editor before you can do a recording, otherwise the recorded data never appears! In 4.5 you could simply select a new clean row and hit record, then fruity would automatically insert a pattern block and store the recording. However this is just very minor niggle.

I see what you're saying with the pattern block. This is not a solution, but you can also loop off a section in the playlist and it will be able to start recording/playing without the block.

i download the demo and im just passing some time whit it...
so one thing that i like a lot is the EDIT EVENTS feature, ..but we just can use this on flstudio plugins
param. and not on any vsti? right? ...for thatwe have to use the automation clips... is like this ?

you can use it with any vsti, OOO. You can assign sliders, etc. in Fruity Dashboard if you want to automate a lot of knobs, etc. You can get presets for Dashboard for the most popular synths or make them yourself.

No. The event editing is the "standard automation" (ie before automation clips). For native FL features, you can do this by right-clicking any knob and choosing "Edit Events". This can also be done for any VSTi:

* Move a knob in your VSTi
* Click the little plug icon in the very top left corner of the window.
A menu will appear.
* Choose "Last Tweaked Parameter, Edit Events"
* Draw something

What I would do, Just reformat the whole drive and download FL5 again, before installing necessary programs.

**remember to save all your projects and all those important stuff before reformating.

seems like you've really got a nasty bug there, sorry to hear that

. I've not encountered that bug yet myself. I have had a few crashes in FL studio 5 that didn't seem to be related to any synths nor effects but I'm not 100% sure of that yet. I will keep investigating.

yeah it's a nuisance,a dn I'm sad about it. I know NO-ONE has the same problem I have, and that's why I don't blame FL developers at all!

but no-one has been able to give a solution. I've even uninstalled my FL5 now and only using FL4.5 cos every time I'm trying to compose a melody and a note gets stuck or simply doesn't sound I get angry and uninspired.

Mind, in FL4.5 all works perfect!!!

You know Ive had these inexplicable thing happen to me before. Trying loads of different solutions with no effect, eventually I give up. I periodically do a clean install of everything and often those inexplicable little problems just disappear.

Most recent are Symptohm crashing FL Studio clean isntall it went also FL rewired to Live often ended in a crash also disappeared after clean install.

I know its a pain but it maybe worth it.

just curious, I wouldn't mind slave either but won't lose sleep over it....what do you want FL to slave to? For me it would of been my hard disk recorder, but it slaves so it's fine...anyhow I'm just curious.

My Evolution mk-361C midi controller doesn't work at all in FL5. The little MIDI indicator button doesn't even light up. Which is strange, because it works fine in anything else I've thrown at it, which included the old FL demo from a year ago or so.

Ah, just wanted to try it out anyway. Looks cool, but if I can't use my keyboard I'm not really interested.

And now I will sentence all of Imageline to death....by BUNGA BUNGA.
