Really, 7Zip does it all, been using it for over a decade, is always one of the first things I install in Windows.

thank you all for your input regarding 7zip, but i really only wanted to let the Surge team know about the problem wrt to Windows Extract All.

but...i'm well aware of 7zip and it's strengths.

Funny thing, this. So we were using CMake's archive command in the pipelines, and apparently this creates a ZIP that is not entirely kosher with built-in Windows unzip (for whatever reason).

If we instead use 7zip (which is, thankfully, preinstalled in Azure), it creates a ZIP that will work perfectly fine.

So consider this fixed for the future (not right now though, because something else is coming first!)

but I have a capital bug:( when dialog box pops up to edit slider values or anything else
ENTER doesnt work!:( osx High Sierra here. latest build of Reaper as host.

in v1.9 works perfectly.

I just tried this on my mac and both return and enter accept value. The gesture I did was

Pitch
RMB
Edit value
Type 3
press enter

it goes to 3.

Can you let us know a bit more about what you are doing?

We are happy to release Surge XT 1.0 today.

Surge XT 1.0 is available at https://surge-synthesizer.github.io. It installs with a new plugin ID ("Surge XT") side by side with our version from April 2021, Surge 1.9.

* The entire synth has been ported to the JUCE framework, making for far more reliable plugins and behavior, as well as providing us loads of dev tools

* We have expanded the Waveshapers, going from 5 waveshaper models to nearly 50, and added a new filter model

* We've added a modulation list which lets you navigate and modify the entire modulation list in one view

and when Enter/Return the dialog doesnt close and take the value!
its stays open until I click in other part of the gui

osx 10.13.6, Reaper 646rc1 from here https://www.landoleet.org/
using vst3 version of Surge XT 1.0

Does it work if you enable Reaper's option to send all keyboard input to plugin?
