Was just listening to some of the presets for the new Space Pad Factory in MSF Beta 15.02, and I'm blown away. I think this may be the best instrument yet in MSF. Full of wonderful subtleties. It shows some of the outer limits of what MSF can do. Bravo to whomever developed it!

Nice sounds indeed, but it's unfortunately an incredible CPU killer. It even needs more CPU than my whole orchestra playing. Speaking of "economy reespecting the output sound" it's unusable to me in the end (I do not like to freeze tracks when producing).
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

Well, don't use it then.Tagirijus wrote: Tue Jan 18, 2022 6:45 am Nice sounds indeed, but it's unfortunately an incredible CPU killer. It even needs more CPU than my whole orchestra playing. It's listed under changes in 15.02e. In MSF, just scroll down the list of instruments, and it's there.smadger wrote: Tue Jan 18, 2022 5:53 pm Where are you finding this, I can't see anything called Space Pad Factory on the latest beta?

I don't think that's for installing new devices.
@smadger Did you keep the option "MSoundFactory instruments" option checked in the installer where you can chose the plugin types (VST2/3 etc).

Yep, that's why I put the image of them saying they're installed after clicking that button, but if you're saying they're in the 57GB drum pack? Sorry, not doing that lol.concon wrote: Tue Jan 18, 2022 8:33 pm See the tab for "Download & Install Instruments"? Click it. You're missing out on a lot of instruments.
If there's updated content I need to get from somewhere, I've no idea how I would know this. Clicking that button doesn't give me any options other than uninstalling a pack I already have. And going to the Global Presets Online Exchange does not have it in either.

Possibly not, to be honest I can't remember, but I would guess no, because that always seems like a "first install" kinda option. Will take a look.Held wrote: Tue Jan 18, 2022 8:52 pm I don't think that's for installing new devices.
