OK not sure what any of that is about so I guess I'll ignore it
I've started the first parts of this project:
1. Got domain www.musicsoftwaredeals.com
2. Setup 1 crawler and currently have pluginboutique deals all listed daily
Next stage:
- Add correct tagging / categories to each product on sale
- Style the "list" view
Any feedback appreciated!

For the box allowing you to see the PB deals in price order, it's worth it for that alone imo. Very basic observations:
The graphics / pack shots are too small to be useful.
Would be nice to adjust currency to your local currency.
In the drop down menu at the top, it would be nicer to have a checkbox option so you can screen out companies you're not interested in.
It needs some sort of blurb or category for products - is it an effect, a bundle, an instrument etc. Is there a related product like Kontakt or Serum that is required for it to work?
One other thing that occurs to me is the question of how you really judge the level of discount. Perhaps when you've accumulated enough price history, you could figure out what an average annual price is for a product, or overlay a trend line.
Also, it's nice to see (assuming it's accurate) that PB's star rating is as useless as I imagine it to be since every single product has a five star rating...
And, just sort of spot checking your crawler's data integrity, 'Drums Bundle' by SoundSpot is coming up at $6.64 discounted from $800. When I click on it, it shows a price of £5 (which seems about the right calculation for $ to £) but the original price is £310, which is a lot cheaper than US$800.
It makes me think your crawler has a bug because when I switch to USD it comes up as $421.05, but if it's right then it would be interesting to know if some deals are cheaper in a different currency.

In terms of adjusting to your local currency that won't be possible - it will most likely only be USD as not every website we crawl offers multiple currencies.
You're right about product ratings being fairly useless actually. We might remove them as pretty much all of them are 5 stars lol.
Thanks for spotting the bug about currency switching, we'll take a look at that!

We've added more sorting options to the "box" view so you can sort by price, name and discount:

We're in the process of adding ADSR sale products & Time&Space sale products at the moment and should be done by the end of the day. That should add a lot more products to the list.
In the meantime are there any companies websites that we should scrape that are not on re-seller platforms like Plugin Boutique etc.?
For example Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools etc.?

We've added the following re-sellers/stores to our website now:
- ADSRSounds.com
- JRRShop.com
- TimeSpace.com
- VSTBuzz.com
We're working on adding Spitfire Audio products now too. It only takes a few hours to add new websites so we might start to focus on adding features to the website now and sorting/categorising all of the existing products correctly.
Then we'll add the price tracking feature after that.
Any feedback appreciated as always!

A couple of updates/changes/improvements:
1. Show button on every deal to show the store its available at (eg. JRR, T&S, PluginBoutique etc.) - also showing multiple buttons with price in each if its available in multiple stores
2. Added "store" column when viewing list view. So you can sort by store
3. Added www.pluginfox.co store
4. Added option to tick/untick manufacturers in dropdown list so you can show/hide particular companies (for example you might not want to see Soundspot products which are always 99% off)
We've also made a lot of improvement behind the scenes to block URLs for hardware deals if they're scraped, autocorrect/merge deals if the name is different across multiple stores (eg. "Kilohearts Distortion Plug-in", "Kilohearts Distortion Plugin" and "Distortion Plugin" could all be merged into "Distortion Snap-in" by Kiloheartz".
There are still a few bugs to be resoolved and we haven't correctly added all of the tagging to the products yet but this will come later.
Next we're working on scraping more websites and beginning to put the price tracking tool together

https://www.plugin-alliance.com has been added (though their coupon system will make it fun to figure out actual prices).
We're now in the process of adding Waves (all 1 million sale products), Loot Audio and Native Instruments.
After that we'll stop adding new sites for a while and focus on functionality of the website before adding more websites.

Great idea - or better: lots of work you do for us! Some thoughts:
- Some companys (e. g. Acustica Audio) only deliver pictures with the discount amount. I guess they want to evade that people can search for discounts on google and still see the amount years later. That is generally not in the companys interest.
- It woulkd be great to have something like a "sales status" for the companys that shows at least the number of sales they have had in the lust year and the average amount of discounts.
