Hello everyone

Currently my Rickenbacker 4001 is in full restoration and my version 2 of the sound bank is not finished but I can however share finished .sfz banks.
I decided while waiting to acquire a bass (Rocktile LB104) made for beginners and to sample it. For the moment only one articulation is carried out and if an interest is carried I will continue this sound bank.

Some information on this project which will evolve to be very complete.
This sound bank can in no way compete with professional products but I try to take the greatest care possible.
The bass is sampled over three octaves with five velocity levels for each note. Each sample is adjusted and worked to be as clean as possible.
The chosen format is .sfz because it is easy to access, round robbin, etc...

Thanks alot. That seems like a great bass. What you don't even mention: you use the FLAC audio format (which is very good for keeping the bass on the harddisc compact), you have 5 velocity levels, and you programmed a kind of pseudo round robin in that the bass sounds 5 cents higher and then 5 cents lower. It all sounds fantastic ... I'll be testing it in a song soon. :D

Thank you for this laborious work! :tu:

Not Peter Hooks actual bass, but a Rickenbacker 4001 Rack for Live with samples included.

Just a quick side question:
Does your Rickenbacker bass utilize the Project 16 samples or are these two Rickenbacker libraries completely separate endeavors?

Hello
I think you are right and a description on the initial post would be welcome.

Haha, mostly it's exactly the opposite: People announce great features - and
then they are hardly or badly implemented.

You, on the other hand, don't say anything - and thus remain in elegant
understatement. Of course that's something too.

But the best thing would be to simply describe what is there in a very
factual manner.

Mine was recorded by Nekro Dean then edited and made into a Live Rack by me.
No connection with Project 16. :)

Oha, I see: This bass is again with:

-- FLAC format
-- 5-way velo switch
-- Triple round robin

This is great! Thank you!
