I'm guessing this was taken moments before the cat pushed your gear off the table and into the floor? :-o
I'm involved with photography & audio. For more info, take a look at my site:

I'm looking for a dedicated modular sequencer just for drums alone, any hints?
This is on my short list.

Ratchet - Schottkey Modular.png

There is a 'videos' link in the menu on the page.

Ooooh. I don't have space but I'd like to find a way.

Well yesterday I had a couple of modules delivered, the B2600 VCO and Four Play. The VCO sounds fantastic so I have ordered another 2 of them. Could have just bought the 8u modules but wanted the small euro modules and at £80 was a nice price. The thing looks lovely too.

My starter rack so far testing the power out.

Ordered TTA SD and RS drum modules, I'm aiming for a full set of modular 909 drums in the next few months. Still deciding on my first sequencer tho.

For sure I'll be ordering another Mantis at some point. I bought the brackets with the first case with this in mind. I love this modules I have so far. I'll definitely be buying 2 more 2600 VCO's and another Four Play.
The Brains in great too, plenty of everything on that one.

I'm still torn on my first sequencer although in the long run I'll probably end up with 2 or 3
So far I'm impressed by
  • NerdSEQ
    Malekko Varigate 4/8+
    PNW
    ES Black Sequencer
    Metropolix[
    Euclidean Circles/list]

i have a malekko sequencer, not the varigate? but it can be linked to it. (id have to look what it's called) very good sequencer imo, nicely built too :tu:

personally have no experience with any of those you listed, but have read good things about the ones ive heard of :)
pnw and euclidean both get raved about by many different "style" users too, from techno types to generative doodle types :D

The NerdSEQ seems to be fantastic it's tracker based. Like the kind of stuff I first started out on back in 1987.

Comes in a few different colours :tu:

Yeah I'm gonna order one soon. It has plenty addons too.

The Nerdseq is the first hardware tracker based sequencer allowing cv, trigger, sampling and midi sequencing for Eurorack systems

NerdSEQ

There's also trigger, cv and gate expanders for this along with midi an hdmi expander so you can put the screen of the NerdSEQ on a monitor, also program it from a game pad or use usb to plug in stuff.. I'll probably get this sequencer first then Euclidean Circles and PNW :tu:

Now class, in continuing our gear porn photography lesson… this angle is what’s known in the industry as the over-shoulder-cleavage-shot.

Pay close attention to how the lens flare draws the attention to how the knobs seem to emerge from the shadows on the right side of the bosom…
