Which VST sampler would get your vote when playing .gig files is concerned?
I am looking for VST sampler with superb .gig compatibility. Sample mangling is not relevant.

Well.. I'd say Kompakt. 8 outs, built-in controllable effects, VERY simple GUI, DFD, decent library, envelopes, LFOs, filters. In theory, it's awesome.
However, I'm apparently one of the .3% of all Kompakt users that encounters a rendering problem w/ audio dropouts that makes it a total bitch to use. Most people don't get this problem, though.
