ty Markus :)

So is one eligible for the special discount for customers when one owns any paid product by Tone2 - even the fx? Could I buy something now and then do the crossgrade? How much longer does this offer last?

Post

If you own a paid Tone2 product you're a customer and eligible for the special discount. It does not matter which product you own. I can grant that the offer will still last for one month.
I am also fine if you should buy the 'special customer discount product' as your first product and then buy the other product later.

We currently offer a special discount for $99 to our customers for Icarus2 and Gladiator3:

Just got Gladiator3. Already have Electra2, Saurus3 and Nemesis2, which all are really impressive, powerful and fun synths

Post

I just bought Nemesis and Icarus 2 (already had Warlock and Saurus). All of them are so inspiring with top notch presets and premium sound! I will be buying more as soon as my funds allow.

After some demoing, I've decided to buy in as well. Went with Saurus and Gladiator 3. Icarus hasn't really convinced me (yet), mainly because I feel it doesn't offer that much beyond my other synths. But Saurus and Gladiator both sound absolutely fantastic. And Gladiator seems really unique and right up my alley. Cool, I'm really happy with it!

Post

Gladiator 3 was high on my list ( and will probably be next) but I have been after Icarus 2 for a while and it was a better fit for me (and a good deal).

That's one thing I like about Tone2 synths; you don't have a limited number of days to try the demos so you can really see which ones work for you. They have a time limit per session and save disabled but otherwise are fully functional.

Well, no kidding - I have demoed Icarus a bunch more and decided that it was actually also really, really good and that the special price of 89€ was a great deal, so I bought it as well. Have been making patches all day and am really liking it. Lots of stuff to keep me busy now :).

Hi Markus, quick questions - do the Gladiator 3 expansions also include new waveforms for Osc 1-4? If so, any chance for a special offer if you buy all three? Any way to load your own waveforms? Would be cool if you could transfer from Icarus to Gladiator, as you can the other way around. Thanks!

Edit: I think I just found some answers to these myself.

There is a free synthesis tool to create mf2 files. Any plans to make this process easier like I mentioned before (ex. with Icarus)? Also it seems that only the "state of the art" expansion comes with 26 waves.

Cool, glad you picked it up gondii

Now you've got me looking at Gladiator again and the updated Rayblaster. Then there are all the expansions. This could be an expensive year!
