It's pretty subtle. I only like I think 2 of the models.

Created instability and crashing in my DAW (FL Studio) so stopped using it.
Kazrog's new 5150 amp sim is amazing though, and works perfectly.

What OS is that?
I heard of instabilities on the Apple M1 machines too, but they've all been fine so far on my 2021 Macbook.
Is it a graphics thing i wonder?

If you want a more obvious transformer emulation, check Sknote AnyTesla.

In my experience, I've noticed that on some sources it seems to do virtually nothing, while on others it works wonders. You definitely notice or you definitely don't notice.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Everyone saying it's subtle...you know there's more than one knob, right?
If you start with Crush at 0 and only touch the Strength knob, sure, it's subtle...because you're not driving it. If you're putting something quiet into it, it may not even be saturating. It can't gain stage for you.
I start with Crush at 18db as a baseline before touching Strength. If I can't hear it I'll max Crush. And then back off until it's right. Strength is more of a character knob than a drive knob, IMO.
But it's supposed to be subtle, right?
Everyone has a different threshold for what subtle means. I don't use it subtly, I use it heavily as my main saturator. It's probably my favorite saturator, because it works the way I feel like saturators should.
Just turn it up...

My fave True Iron use... Instrument or master buss, use a stereo splitter, one instance on the left, one on the right, dial each side in differently. Magic!!!

True Iron is a piece of Art, very true!
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.
